Dr Penuel Jacob specialises in all areas of general practice and is particularly interested in surgery. He looks forward to meeting new patients and supporting them throughout all stages of their lives.
Dr Jacob graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Christian Medical College, Vellore (affiliated to the University of Madras, India). He also did his postgraduate training in Master of General Surgery from the same institution. He became a Fellow of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2010.
Dr Jacob is a renowned GP in Glenunga who is well-known for his expertise in the surgical treatment of Skin Cancer and Excision of skin lesions. He performs all minor surgeries as well. His patients have described him as an excellent doctor with excellent surgery skills. Dr Jacob does not undertake mental health or work cover consults, but he enjoys working in all other aspects of general medicine.

From Monday to Friday at Glenunga Medical Complex, GP consults will be bulk billed for patients less than 16 years old, or those with a healthcare card, concession card, or pension card. GP consults for chronic disease care plans, health assessments or NIP immunisations will also be bulk billed.
